Lake Weed Clearance
On this extensive site we successfully carried out weed clearance works of a lake for Manley Mere Watersports Centre in Cheshire.
What We Did:
It is imperative that the lake is kept weed free for health and safety reasons due to it being used for various water activities, including swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing.
The Conver C480 workboat effectively harvested large quantities of surface blanketweed and sub-surface weed from the lake. We used the trailing knife attachments followed by the front end loader, restoring clear waters and allowing access for water activities and a major triathlon event.
